Cheap Flights to Yanji

Yanji is located in northeast China, in Jilin province and close to the borders with North Korea and Russia. It is about 130 kilometers from Changchun and is the five hours away from the Changbaishan National Nature Reserve.

One of the main attractions of Yanji is the Changbaishan National Nature Reserve, where visitors can go skiing. Another is a day trip to DPRK. Separate provisions and diplomatic requirements have to be met in order to cross the border into North Korea.

There are a lot of cafes in the city which serve Korean-style and Western-style coffee like Americano and Espresso. Some cafes have an English menu, and some cafes even have wi-fi. The cuisine is also very Korean, and the regional specialty is cold noodles. This dish has its roots in Korea, and is slightly spicy. Other traditional Korean food are well represented like ginseng infused dishes and Korean barbecue.

Like almost all Chinese (and Korean) cities, there are karaoke bars where you can have a drink and enjoy the evening. There are also clubs where people can dance. However, the music is usually Korean-pop or kpop, and run by Korean DJs.
