Venray, situated in the province of Limburg is popular with tourists for its astonishing scenic beauty, its heritage monuments, a vibrant cultural ambiance and excellent shopping. The huge wooded area makes Venray particularly popular with avid cyclists, walkers and horse riders. The shopping area has many terraces and cultural facilities such as cinema, theatre, library and museum in the centre. The weekly market is held on Mondays and the annual fair in July.
