About Tai’an

When people talk about Tai’an the first thing that comes to mind is Mt. Taishan. It’s amongst the first five holy hills in China, and is also listed as a World Cultural Site by UNESCO. The hill dates way back to early Chinese days, this area has for long been visited by tourists who want to indulge in the calm religious atmosphere. In the early days, emperors used to visit the region to worship deities.

Many renowned Chinese writers have also used it as motivation for their works. There are many other tourist attraction sites that can be found in this region. Peach Blossom Valley is found right at the heart of this mountain range, it got its name from the numerous peach trees which are found there. Cheap flights to Tai’an can also be accessed.

Dawenkou Heritage museum is found at the center of the city. It holds many antique remains that date back from the years 4300BC to around 2500BC, and is closely related to the Neolithic Era. The museum specifically specializes in displaying stone tools made by ancient settlers, it also has art scenes that show how early people used to live and work.

Park Range is located right at the heart of Mt. Culaishan and covers a total landmass of 61,776 acres. The key peak of this mountain is a spot known as Taipingding, which rises to about 3,369 ft above the sea’s level. At the mountain’s side there are various pine trees that are 1000s of years in age. Dongping County also has its own spectacular sites, and it hosts Lashan Forest which is also next to L. Dongping, it’s believed to be the 2nd biggest fresh water body in Shandong area. The Dong Yue Resort was opened in the year 1997 and boasts of a garden-design ambiance and expedient transportation services. Another great accommodation spot is Taishan International Resort which is found at the base of Mt. Tai; the hotel is next to some municipal buildings and is very safe for visitors.
