About Stanger

The city of Stanger in South Africa is now known as KwaDukuza. The name replacement took place last 2006. The name KwaDukuza, when translated to English, is The House of Dukuza. This is a notable person from the past. He gave up his life during the war between the Europeans and the South Africans. More and more cheap flights to Stanger are taking place because of its boom in tourism and agriculture. Sugar is the main product of this city. It has hectares and hectares of land that produces quality sugar canes. Foreign investors are getting interested in the way they handle their sugar cane fields.

It has developed into a very friendly city for visitors. It shows in its road filled with easy-to-follow signs. There are hotels in Stanger that allow its visitors to see the fields and the coast nearby. The Dolphin Bay, the coast at the east end of the city, looks so stunning from view decks. It looks even more stunning up close. It boasts a perfect combination of crystal clear waters and soft white sand beaches. It will not be named Dolphin Bay without any apparent reason. A lot of this species are spotted by the beach. It is only during the months of February to April that they are not active.

A heritage tour is also being held by the locals to give tourists a more meaningful trip. This is composed of the different sites where the great Shaka was believed to have lived his life. This includes the trip to the Memorial Complex, the Mavivane Execution Cliff, the Mbozambo Valley and the Observation and High Rock. A tour guide is provided by the government for a brief explanation of all these sites. All these are available for a very reasonable price, too. It will really be nice to consider putting it on the itinerary.
