The newly-built malecon in San Carlos enables you to enjoy a good view of the lake. It's actually the best place to await the sunset. The scenic view is really enough to add a romantic twist to your souvenir photos. You can also enjoy the lake tours usually offered during the day.
Near the malecon are several shops and food carts that serve breakfast at around 7 AM. Restaurants, on the other hand, start serving meals at around 11 AM. You might want to have lunch on the restaurants on stilts for a more memorable experience.
