Cheap Flights to Saitama

Saitama is very near Tokyo. In fact, a lot of commuters go back and forth on a daily basis. If you want to make the most of your Japan trip, it is definitely worth it to make a side trip to Saitama.

There are no direct cheap flights to Saitama. The closest major international airport is Narita and you may start off from there. It is pretty easy to get to the city and to get around it as well. The transport system is very good here, making it easy for any traveler to find their way.

Once in Saitama, you should get into the grove of exploring. First, visit the Railway Museum. It is a delightful display steam locomotive, train cab simulator, miniature railways, and about 36 engines that will surely sweep you off your feet. It’s a great attraction for kids and adults alike.

Another attraction that suits family travelers is the Tobu Dobutsu Kouen. It’s a complete package of a destination comprising of a zoo, an amusement park, and a swimming pool. Watch for the fireworks display held every Summer. You would love watching it while suspended in the air riding the rejina roller coaster.

The Saitama Super Arena is not to be missed by everyone as well. As the name implies, it is a “super arena” that houses restaurants and shops and attractions and anything in between. There are happenings every so often here. Watch out for concerts and other performances by famous personalities.

Another good reason to take cheap flights to Saitama is to experience the Cherry blossom season. The tree blooms only once a year and it is very important that you are there when it happens. From mid of April to the first week of May, you can enjoy a rejuvenating walk in Chichibu, decorated by the beautiful nature provided by the cherry blossom tree.

When in the city, there is no need to splurge on your accommodation. There are cheap nice hotels in Saitama that will not let you spend so much but will give you a comfortable stay just the same.
