Governor Henry Lippitt House Museum

This house was originally built in 1865 by Governor Lippitt, and several generations actually continued to live in this house until the late 1970s and serve the community. In addition, this structure was designated as an Historic landmark in 1976. The house was donated to the Preserve Rhode Island society and became a museum in the 1980s.
