Oradea, the capital of Bihor County is one of the most important hubs of economic, cultural and social activities of western Romania. Nestling amidst the mountains that unify harmoniously with the Cri?ana plains, Oradea lies on the banks of the river Cri?ul Repede that divides the city into two. Catedrala Romano-Catolica is the nation’s biggest Baroque religious construction. The Black Eagle Palace features a glass-roofed shopping arcade with a hotel, cafés and a cinema. The Church of the Moon features a gold-black sphere in perpetual motion reproducing the moon phases. The Oradea Fortress with its five-point-star architecture is one of the most-imposing Oradea sights.
