About Numazu

The city of Numazu is located at the eastern part of the Shizuoka Prefecture in Japan. The city is situated in the end north of the Izu Peninsula. The city is about 130 kilometers from the western part of Tokyo. From here, you can see Mt. Fuji provided that the day is clear. One of the tourist attractions of Numazu is the abundance of hot springs. The climate is warm with maritime features thanks to the Kuroshio Current.
