About Naranjo

Naranjo de Alajuela is the capital city of the Naranjo canton. Named because of the once many naranjo or orange trees in the place, the city is brimming with all things green as one of Costa Rica’s agricultural cities.

Located a short distance from San Jose city, Naranjo basks in the beauty of the Central Valley. The view from the Espirito Santo Hills is enough to make you want to take more souvenir pictures.
