About Nagano

In the Nagano Prefecture, you will find a city with a great temple overlooking the modern city. This is the Nagano, the capital city of the prefecture. The city is located in the north part near the confluence of two rivers, the Sai and Chikuma Rivers and is in the Honsh? Island of Japan. Nagano is very popular for a Buddhist temple called Zenk?-ji.
