Morocco is a relatively small country but it has one of the richest cultures in the whole world which may be attributed to its geographic location. Surprisingly, or maybe not, Morocco does not have one boring city or town. Take for instance Nador, a seaside city in the northeastern part of the country.
Nador is no Marrakesh, Tangier or Casablanca. It does not welcome hundreds of thousands of vacationers every year. It is more of a trading center where fresh produce exported to other countries, actually. But no one can deny the beauty and simple charm of the city. International cheap flights to Nador are available daily although there are ferry rides to and from Spain and France that are offered as well.
The city earns more from its agriculture industry and fisheries. But since it is a seaside port, a lot of people from Europe still come here during the summer months. As of the moment, there aren't a lot of seaside cafés and restaurants in the area compared to the more famous Agadir. But the local government is already making plans regarding this so that they can make the city a major spot for tourism in the country. You could also find an ecological resort which was only recently built in town. Because they are planning for this to be a huge tourist destination, marinas and golf courses are being developed as well.
This place may be under construction and beautification but it doesn’t mean that you will only get to enjoy its charm and a decade from now. It also does not mean that they don’t have the facilities that tourists need and/or want. There are some really good hotels in Nador today such as the Hotel Rif, La Giralda and the Hotel al Hassania. Eating out would not be a problem as well because you’re in Morocco. Everything served here – whether it’s on a plate or a stick – tastes amazing.
As mentioned earlier, people can visit this city from France or Spain via a ferry ride. This takes so much longer so it would still be best to buy one of those cheap flights to Nador instead. This international airport caters to airlines servicing different countries in Europe such as Amsterdam, Marseille and Madrid.
