About Mau

Mau is a town located in Uttar Pradesh, India and located on the banks of Ghaghra River. It serves as the headquarters of Mau District. The city was formerly known as Mau Nath Bhanjan. The Tamasa River is the city's most important body of water.

As a powerhouse for textile weavers, Mau offers great diversity in terms weaves color, fibers and clothing materials.
