About Masaya

The city of Masaya is the agricultural hub of Nicaragua. It’s also one of the centers in clothing, furniture and footwear production and has good contribution to the Nicaraguan economy. Though not a highly progressive city, Masaya is one of the most important cities in the country and has a fair share of interesting places and structures for both local and foreign travelers. Though there are no direct cheap flights to Masaya, tourists can easily reach the city via the international airport in Managua. The city is dominated by different exotic volcanoes and clear blue lakes, a tropical paradise for those who want to escape the hustle and bustle of big cities without being cut from the city itself.
