Cheap Flights to Maebashi

In the Kanto region of Honshu Island in Japan, you will see a mountain called Mt. Akagi. At the foot of this mountain lies the city of Maebashi-shi, which is the capital city of the Gunma Prefecture. The Tone River is running on the west part of the city. If you will visit Maebashi-shi, expect a humid subtropical weather and during winter, you will feel dry winds and dry winter with long days than night. It is recommended to know the bus and train station inn Maebashi-shi in order to get around the city. From 2010, bike rentals have been offered and you can get it from JR East Maebashi Station.

One of the places you should visit here is the Green Dome Maebashi which is a wonderfully designed and made domed stadium located in the Maebashi Park. This place holds exhibitions and indoor sports events. You can see Keirin races here or the pari-mutuel bicycle races. If you want to see flower garden here, visit the Ogo Green Flower Pasture. Go to Kencho, at the prefectural government building to have a nice view of the city and the Mt. Akagi. Here, you have to try the Yakimanjyu, this is a fried manjyu. You have to visit the restaurant called Saiwaisenbei that offers the “Seven Gods of Good Fortune rice cracker”, which is very popular rice cracker here.
