Lubumbashi is located in southeastern part of Democratic Republic of Congo and was formerly known as Elisabethville in French and Elisabethstad in Dutch. It is the capital of Katanga Province and a prominent city for Copper-mining.
Lubumbashi is known as the home of Lubumbashi International Airport where cheap flights to Lubumbashi are served. It also serves as center railway line connecting Llebo city known as Port-Francqui and as residence of local rulers in Congo.
