There are no direct cheap flights to Kitami but if you are traveling by plane, you will have to land on Memambetsu Airport, which is about 42 minutes from downtown. You can take either a bus or taxi service from the airport and pay the corresponding fee to get to the city.

Visiting the parks, however, do not commensurate everything that is out there to discover in Kitama. You must also pay homage to history by visiting the Pierson Memorial House and the world’s biggest, the Kamurin Cuckoo Clock Tower.

If you are a nature tripper, you will not get short of sights to see when you take cheap flights to Kitami. You can go on a sightseeing trip to the onion fields or the rolling hills in Tanno. You may also enjoy wonderful activities like skiing in the Ski Field and witnessing horse racing at the Banba Horse Racing circuit. You may also visit the Tokoro Handcrafts Center and the Lake Tomisato Forest Park to get a better feel of the local lifestyle.
