The country of Tanzania has plenty of tourist attractions. Though most of the cities are generally underdeveloped, it has abundant natural reserves, plenty of exotic wildlife, good number of beaches, parks, lakes and mountains. There are no known hotels in Katumba so make it a point to book for a room in Mbeya or in other nearby cities beforehand. A chance of having a guesthouse or decent inn is also slim so make sure not to take a chance if you don’t want to be stranded in the city.
