Cheap Flights to Ibaraki

In the Higashiibaraki District of the Kanto Region in the Honshu Island of the Ibaraki Prefecture, you will find a small town called Ibaraki. This town was set to merge with the capital city if the Ibaraki Prefecture, Mito, but was abandoned in 2007. The prefecture itself is mountainous especially in the northern part and near the Pacific Ocean in the northeastern part. There are three rivers flowing to the town and these are the Kansei, Hinuma and Hinumagawa rivers.

In order to get to the prefecture and the town, you can use the Ibaraki Airport located in Omitama. Cheap flights to Ibaraki will come from Spring Airlines and Skymark Airlines. From there, you can take bus to go to the town. There is also a bus from and to Tokyo as well as train services. Touring the town can be achieved through the bus services and trains servicing in the town.

Not known as a tourist spot, but it is a great place to go to if you plan to tour the Ibaraki Prefecture. Here, you can visit the Kashima Shrine, Mt. Tsukuba and Kairakuen Park. You can feel the old town feel in most of the cities and towns in this prefecture. You can visit the Suigo Area or enjoy beach at Kasumigaura. The Tsukuba Expo Center is a must visit also for regular events being held here. The Koga Park in Koga City is a nice place to enjoy Cherry Blossoms and if you want to experience the Makabe Hina – Matsuri or Doll Festival. If you want to enjoy sightseeing, you have to go to Izura Rokkaku – do at the Kita – Ibaraki City or the Fukuroda Falls on the town of Daigo.

It is not that hard to find hotels in Ibaraki or even hostels or inns. It is not that expensive to stay here for vacation and most of the hotels are located near the train station. If you want to fully enjoy your stay in Ibaraki, you have to book in advance in both the cheap flights to Ibaraki and hotel accommodations and there are many deals online if you want to enjoy the Ibaraki Prefecture and its grandeur.
