Hirosaki is a city in Aomori Prefecture. It is best known for its Hirosaki Castle. The city was not damaged during World War II unlike many of its neighboring towns and villages. The Castle was still in its original and intact grounds and the tower surrounded with cherry blossoms and maple trees.
