About Floridablanca

Floridablanca is a municipality of the larger urban area, Bucaramanga, and is home to around 250,000 people. It is situated in the north of the country and is part of Santander. It is famous for its confectionary creations, in particular the wafers or obleas as they are known locally.

The area has a fascinating history and an eclectic mix of ethnicities which can be seen in the diverse and celebrated culture of Floridablanca today.
