Boca de Infermo (also known as the 'mouth of hell,') is a cool formation to check out while enjoying the coast of Cascais. It's actually waves that jut through a small hole in a rock formation, with water bursting and jutting its way through the opposite side. Tip: Another 'must' on your 'to do' list in Cascais is the Museu Condes de Casto Guimaraes, a former mansion turned museum. The mansion was actually built in the 1800's by a wealthy Irishman who later suffered from the luck of the Irish, having to sell it to the Count of Casto, whose beautiful decorations are still present for your viewing pleasure. It's got gorgeous tiles, paintings, artwork, silver and some gorgeous gardens on the grounds. This is a great place to visit-as entrance is free and there are guided tours every half hour. Stunning views await you from this mansion/museum, and do make sure you make time to check out the garden.
