Back then, it could take up to 5 hours depending on the traffic. From Clark, you can take a taxi that will take you to the bus terminals in Olongapo and you can take the bus from there. If you want a comfortable bus ride, take the Baliwag Transit from there. Since the tricycle is popular in Cabanatuan City, use them as your means to get around. Jeepneys and renting a car are the other means but you are more likely to enjoy exploring via tricycle.
