Ahmadpur East is the capital city of Ahmadpur Tehsil and situated in the district of Bahawalpur. It is a city famous for its importance in Pakistan History. The city has a desert environment and receives little rainfall.
The city is also known for its embroidery, carpet and fine pottery.
